Alison Cowzer is Co-Founder of East Coast Bakehouse, a large-scale biscuit manufacturing business based in Drogheda, Co. Louth, producing a range of biscuits for the Irish, UK, and international markets.
A well-known entrepreneur and investor, Alison appeared as a Dragon on RTÉ’s Dragons’ Den, where she invested in and mentored a number of high-potential Irish start-ups. She is also a member of the Bord Bia Consumer Foods Board, contributing to the development and promotion of Ireland’s food sector.
Beyond business, Alison is deeply involved in the not-for-profit sector. She serves as a Director of the international humanitarian agency GOAL, Chairperson of Rough Magic Theatre Company, and Board Member of both the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
Alison also hosts a regular business podcast with The Currency, where she speaks with leading entrepreneurs and industry figures about growth, innovation, and leadership.
