A simple opportunity

We started back in the 1980s because two rather unconventional accountants, called David and Maurice, saw an opportunity. To do things better.

A simple opportunity. But a radical one, in an industry that was very traditional and conservative at the time. In the early 1990s, they decided to join forces, merging their two practices to create Fitzgerald Power. Why? Because they believed they could add more value together than apart. That belief, in adding more value, is at the heart of everything we do. Today, while we’ve grown rapidly to become market leaders, we’re proud to say we remain just as refreshingly unconventional as we were at the start.

Now led by Stuart Fitzgerald and an ambitious management group, we are a team of experts dedicated to delivering innovative and strategic accountancy services, operating from three offices – two in Waterford and one in Dublin – with a goal to surpass 100 employees by the end of 2026.
