Project Overview

Fitzgerald Power was engaged to sell Carragher’s Pharmacy Limited t/a Quirke’s Medical Hall. This multi-generational family pharmacy is one of the longest standing retail businesses in Tullamore. Our client, Paddy Carragher, took over the operations of the pharmacy from his father in 1973.
Our objective was to develop a short list of potential purchasers and engage with these parties to identify a suitable buyer for the business. Our brief included negotiating an acceptable price, project managing the process and liaising with our client’s legal advisors to complete the transaction
We prepared an Information Memorandum which was circulated to an agreed distribution list. We reviewed the offers received and helped the vendor to select the most acceptable bid.
We populated a virtual data room and liaised with the purchaser’s agent and legal advisors in order to fulfil their due diligence requests. Finally, we negotiated the sales price with the purchaser and following their due diligence review the transaction completed
