Darragh comes to us from NTR plc, a renewable infrastructure investor in and asset manager of European clean energy funds, where he was the in-house corporate finance lead. There, he was heavily involved in product (fund) development, financial modelling, fundraising and investor relations activities. He was also responsible for supporting the ideation, assessment, and presentation of future strategy considerations at Board level, as well as leading corporate finance activities within the company.
Before that, Darragh has sewn his financial acumen wide; worked across multiple sectors at Focus Capital Partners, in an international advisory firm specialising in M&A, debt advisory and equity raising, and he also was the first finance hire at an Irish video game startup in a previous life.
Before all of this, when he was just a twinkle in Fitzgerald Power’s eye, he cut his teeth with PwC, and holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance from Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from University College Cork.
Outside of FP Towers, you’ll likely find him in the gym (show off), reading a good science fiction book or, most likely, attempting to outrun his three young sons in the park.
