Eimear’s career began at University Hospital Waterford, where she worked as a medical secretary. It was in this role that her passion for people-focused work was sparked, ultimately leading her to return to college to complete a degree in Human Resource Management.
She began her HR career in the medical sector before making the move to Fitzgerald Power, her first experience working in an accounting firm. In her current role, she focuses on employee engagement, aligning people strategies with business goals, and fostering a positive workplace culture. She also leads core HR functions, including policy development and performance management.
With a background in both Hospitality Management and Human Resource Management, she brings a unique blend of service excellence and strategic HR expertise, whether delivering a five-star employee experience or navigating complex performance reviews.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find her at the gym pretending she knows what she’s doing, drinking coffee like it’s a full-time job, or discovering restaurants that very few know about
