Lorcan is Fitzgerald Power’s Chairman. He came our way following a stint at the Corporate Department of Dillon Eustace, where he was a Partner and Head until 2021. He actually presently still consults with them, specialising in a broad range of sectors and high-profile transactions. Lorcan boasts particular expertise in the area of regulated financial services and, over the years, sat on the board of a licensed bank, several well-known hedge funds and service providers.
In 2007, Lorcan established Cove Capital Partners, a boutique investment family office that successfully invested in numerous private companies across Ireland, the UK, and the US.
He currently sits on a number of boards, and is presently the Chair of ACE Money Transfer Limited, OROKO Travel and on the Advisory Board of Cogs & Marvel, while also working in a private advisory capacity to a number of Irish-owned SMEs.
Before they sold it last year, Lorcan was also the Chair of Principal Logistics Technologies, and sat on the advisory board of SIM Local. In a previous life, he was also director of the Irish Youth Foundation, but today he focuses his charitable efforts on ORBIS Ireland, the global eyesight charity.
Outside of work, Lorcan enjoys the great outdoors and making attempts at becoming the next McIlroy. However, according to him, we shouldn’t be holding our breath.
