Woodstown Bay Shellfish (WBS) operates one of Europe’s largest certified sustainable oyster farms, situated on the picturesque South East coast of Ireland. The company exports high quality oysters and mussels to clients in Europe and China.

Project Overview

A longstanding client of Fitzgerald Power, Woodstown Bay Shellfish had been using Sage to manage their internal accounting requirements and to produce year-end trial balances for year-end compliance purposes. WBS has clients all over the world that require digital invoices. They were creating these documents in Microsoft Word and then inputting the invoices into Sage. They needed help from our team of online accountants.
We held a face-to-face meeting with the WBS team, where we discussed the benefits of Xero versus their existing solution. We established that Xero would speed up their in-house finance processes, particularly in relation to client invoicing, as invoices created through Xero are automatically posted to the nominal ledger.
