Summary.

It’s an exciting time at Fitzgerald Power, and to support our current organisation and help drive our ambitious growth plans we are hiring a Semi Senior Accountant. This role has a primary focus on the preparation of Financial Statements and Management Accounts resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction combined with targeted operational deliverables for a portfolio of our pharmacy clients.

Who you are.

The role requires a recently qualified or part qualified accountant who is an ambitious and career orientated individual, that’s energised by problem-solving and keen to adopt an outside the box thought process when it comes to new challenges. The ability to effectively prioritise, and a results orientation approach is essential to this position. You’ll be entrusted to run with things early on in your role with us, so the enthusiasm to grow and learn is also key. We pride ourselves on the technical excellence of the firm and will provide a supportive and professional learning environment.
Working collaboratively with all levels of Management and the team to meet deliverables, and a commitment to active learning and developing others, are among the other qualities we’re looking for in our successful applicant.

What you’ll need.

• ACA / ACCA / CPA Newly or Part Qualified.
• Strong technical knowledge & skills of Accounting and Auditing standards (IAS, IFRS, Auditing Standards etc.).  An excellent understanding of accounting software packages is also required. 
• Strong communication skills. 
• Experience coaching junior team members.
• Strong analytical and technical ability and excellent attention to detail.
• Great team working skills and an ability to show flexibility when faced with new challenges.
• Willing to have fun, stay positive and show enthusiasm.
