Accountants Online is an online financial technology company based in Ireland. Led by two innovative entrepreneurs, the company has revolutionised the accounting industry, making it easier and more efficient for company founders to access accounting, taxation and company secretarial services.

Project Overview

Our client had achieved rapid growth and had developed a unique market niche that provided an exciting opportunity for further scale. To deliver upon this market opportunity, the founders identified the requirement for additional support and board level experience.
The founders also wished to provide an exit for their early-stage investors.
Fitzgerald Power’s business consultant team prepared a market valuation and advised on an appropriate mechanism to provide an exit for the early-stage investors. We developed a list of value-additive non-executive director candidates who we felt might offer Accountant Online’s founders the complementary skill and experience they required to strengthen their board.
We worked with our client to identify the prospective NXD’s, who were the best fit for this project. We also worked with the company’s solicitor to complete the exit of the early-stage investors.
