Summary.

It’s an exciting time at Fitzgerald Power, to support our current organisation and help drive our ambitious
growth plans we are hiring a Tax Partner. This is a new position within our team and is a key role. The Tax
Partner will lead the existing tax division currently comprising of a Manager, with some support from existing
departments to meet strict tax deadlines. We are looking for someone with both management and practical,
hands-on experience to provide comprehensive tax advice and support to our growing client base.

Here is what you will be doing.

The successful candidate will grow and manage the tax division and will be expected to assist clients across
a broad spectrum of taxes. This will include:
• Assisting with consultancy and M&A assignments to include corporate restructurings
• Tax research with regard to consultancy assignments
• Tax planning / strategic tax advice
• Review of corporation computations, prepared by audit staff
• Advising clients on corporate and personal tax matters
• Building, developing and managing client relationships with existing, new and prospective connections
• Managing and leading our tax department

About You.

• You will have a keen interest in contributing to the strategic growth and direction of the firm
• You will be passionate about managing and motivating your team
• You will be a qualified tax professional, AITI desirable
• You will have 5+ years experience within the tax department of a large to medium-sized Irish accountancy firm, or equivalent
• You will have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills and will interact at a senior level with corporate clients and our senior leadership team
